Toxicologist / Regulatory Affairs Manager REACH.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you advise and assist customers on regulatory
affairs issues with emphasis on toxicology, ensuring that
high-quality technical content is delivered on time and within
budget. You evaluate the technical quality of available
toxicological data, provide gap analyses and prepare technical
dossiers for REACH Phase-in and non-Phase-in substances. Based on
your analysis, you develop appropriate test strategies,
particularly for toxicological endpoints. In addition, you provide
written expert opinions, conduct risk-assessments on toxicological
issues and provide regulatory and scientific guidance regarding
REACH initiatives. Finally, you are also responsible for the
scientific monitoring of ongoing toxicological studies.
Profile/Qualifications:
You have a technical degree in one of the life sciences, with
advanced training in toxicology (preferably a degree in
Toxicology). Familiarity with regulatory toxicology and a flair for
working with both customers and health or government authorities is
essential. You are precise and efficient, motivated,
results-oriented and communicative and you remain flexible and
creative under pressure. Strong PC and English-language skills are
a given.
