Research Animal Tech

Responsibilities: 

·  Prepares raw data sheets and sets up animal rooms for studies.· Performs activities related to general animal husbandry, procedure room maintenance, dosing, and other related procedures.·Uses, maintains, and calibrates procedure related equipment.·  Keeps daily records of study activities and performs procedures as per Harlan Laboratories SOPs, WIs, and other procedures.· Verifies and QCs study data· Reports an unforeseen problems or deviations promptly to the Study Coordinator.·    Collection and maintenance of scientific data.· Other duties as described by management. 

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Biology, Animal Science, Toxicology or a related field. High School Diploma with 5+ years of Research Animal Tech and study related experience. Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint).Perform repetitive tasks. Accurately calculate and record numbers.  Communicate well with both employees and management. Work in a standing, sitting or kneeling position that will require bending and stretching of arms and legs. Lift and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
