Dog Surgery and Telemetry Training

January 04, 2010

Harlan Laboratories offers hands on dog surgery and telemetry courses in Europe of which the latter course is organised in close cooperation with DSI. Under supervision of qualified surgeons, the surgery and telemetry courses offer an unique opportunity to master techniques in live anaesthetized dogs.

Practical training is combined with lectures on basic surgery such as aseptic working technique and anaesthesiology and the surgical aspects of telemetry. The practical sessions focus on commonly used surgical techniques such as catheterization for (Chronic) infusion and blood sampling. The focus of the telemetry course is on catheterization of arteries, placement of ECG probes and implantation of transmitters. Please contact your local account manager for information on the location of these courses or download our program description documents below for additional information and details on how to register.
