For cosmetic products and ingredients,
European, US or Swiss regulations are covered. Confidential
information can be disclosed by raw material suppliers to Harlan
Laboratories, acting as an independent neutral third party.
Information on material composition is compiled and evaluated under
confidentiality agreements. Based on the compositional information
and analytical test results, compliance certificates are
issued.
Ecotoxicology (PDF)
For more than 15 years Harlan Laboratories
has been performing aquatic and terrestrial ecotoxicological
studies on industrial chemicals, agrochemicals, biocides, and more
recently on veterinary medicines and pharmaceutical products. The
studies are performed according to the international test
guidelines of OECD, EU, EPA/OPPTS, ISO and JMAFF.

Based on our broad experience in the
field of environmental sciences, we can offer services to assess
the potential risk of pharmaceuticals and animal health products to
the environment including the full range of environmental fate,
metabolism and ecotoxicity testing in a tiered approach, followed
by the environment risk assessment.

for migration testing with new food contact substances as well as
