Archiving

Harlan Laboratories has recognised expertise in GLP/GMP-compliant archiving. Our archive fulfills the requirements of OECD, US FDA, US EPA and Japanese GLP-guidelines as well as GMP guidelines.

Location and Size
The archive building is located on Harlan Laboratories property in Füllinsdorf near Basel. It can be easily reached from the airports of Zurich or Basel.

Archiving space of 2400 m² is available on three floors:

• Ground floor, 800 m² Archiving “Compactus”,
  organs/tissues archived in formalin, with a special
  ventilation
• 1st floor, 800 m² Archiving “Compactus”, paraffin
  blocks and slides
• 2nd floor, 800 m² Raw data (paper) and all hard
  copies or originals

Future expansion of archiving capacity is planned.

Harlan Laboratories offers a complete archiving service, administration and controlling according to the criteria of the GLP/GMP guidelines.

• Histopathological slides of tissues and organs
• Electronic data

Examples of Equipment
For audits a specific room is available with all necessary tools.

• The rooms are temperature - (20 +/- 3 °C) and
   humidity (30 - 70 % RH) - controlled

The access is restricted to authorised personnel and controlled by modern security systems.

• The archive is equipped with state of the art
  security and alarm systems
