Protocols

Harlan Laboratories has established antibody production protocols for polyclonal production, alternatively we can use protocols modified to our customers' requirement. Tell us the number of immunizations and bleeds you require, and we will incorporate this into a format for your approval. In order to satisfy regulations, a brief justification of the project to be undertaken is required before the antibody production protocol can commence. All antigens submitted for polyclonal antibody production must be accompanied by a statement (such as e.g. COSHH) detailing all risks associated with the handling of the antigen. A protocol may be extended beyond its original finish date. We ask the end-user to confirm by fax/e-mail 48 hrs in advance of termination.

• COSHH Assessment for Antibody Services
• Antigen Shipping and Receipt Form
• Ethical Review Questionnaire

Following are some of our typical immunization protocols. As previously mentioned these antibody production protocols can be subject to any change as determined by the customer.

These standard packages have been designed and optimized to work with most antigens. Optional boosts and bleeds can be performed if required. Termination of the project will not be carried out without written approval. Any delays on termination will be charged at list price.
