Overview
- All whole blood products are aseptically collected from
healthy, adventitious virus free Harlan barrier-reared animals
(based on the FELASA Recommendations 2002, Nicklas et al)
or genetically controlled colonies.
- Blood is collected fresh for each customer order and checked
for haemolysis before being dispatched on the day of collection.
Upon ordering, please specify the type of anticoagulant required.
Blood collected into Alsevers is adjusted to a standard packed cell
volume to ensure product consistency. Because all blood products
are collected upon request they are available in any vial size with
a minimum size of 10ml to ensure the quality of the product is
maintained. All blood products will routinely be shipped in 25ml
vials.
Harlan Laboratories uses a number of selected major couriers to
ship all products direct to your facility. Please discuss your
