Replacement, reduction and refinement (the 3 R's) play an important role in modern biomedical research. Yet surgery on small laboratory animals is an area in which there is still room for improvement.
Harlan Laboratories has therefore expanded its European capacity for responsibly producing surgically prepared animals.
In addition we are also offering surgical training courses in the Netherlands in dedicated rooms for theory and practice. These include introduction micro-surgery, as well as advanced courses and telemetry in rodents. All courses and seminars are given by experienced trainees and external experts and are coordinated by our FELASA-D specialist.
