Product Description2056 Teklad Global Soy Protein-Free Primate Dietis a fixed formula, non-autoclavable diet manufactured with high quality ingredients and designed to meet the nutrient requirements of most nonhuman primates while addressing several emerging issues. Locust bean meal helps to maintain firm stools and resist diarrhea. The diet excludes wheat, rye, and barley which may cause gluten sensitive enteropathy in some nonhuman primates. 2056 excludes alfalfa meal and soybean meal, minimizing the presence of phytoestrogens. Typical isoflavone concentrations (daidzein + genistein aglycone equivalents) range from non-detectable to 20 mg/kg. Also available certified (2056C).
