8794 Teklad New World Primate Diet is formulated specifically as a complete life cycle, fixed formula diet for small species of new-world primates. Stabilized vitamin C is added to the small extruded biscuit, which is also fortified with extra taurine. The product contains vitamin D₃ (required by new-world primates) and high levels of nutrients, such as iron, which are important in red blood cell development. The small biscuit size (approximately 3/8" x 1/2" x 7/8") is easy for these small animals to eat and reduces wastage often seen with larger biscuits.
